Can the cysts in my breasts be dangerous?
Im years old. I have multiple cysts in both breasts, they dont go away, they are very painful. The doctor said I shouldnt worry, yet again, he has mis diagnosed me for something else before....Could they possibly be dangerous?

im in the same situation with fibrocystic breasts basically means breasts prone to developing benign lumps. its so hard not to be anxious about them all the time. i had a big lump in one breast for like months before it started to shrink. did your doc say he would aspirate drain them if you wanted? i was given that option. they basically numb your skin and poke a needle in and drain the cyst. i opted not to, but if it hadnt gone away after a whole year i think i would have, because its really annoying. brbrive asked multiple doctors about this and whether having fibrocystic breasts puts you at increased risk of breast cancer and all of them have said no, not at all. online sources say the same thing. it seems like we just have to deal with annoying lumps and the fear every time we get checked out that one might be a bad lump. sorry i cant give you a clearer answer, but the short of it is, they are not dangerous, just a pain literally.
