I dropped my phone in a bucket of water, now the screen is black. HOW DO I FIX THIS?? POINTS!?
someone suggested the freezer, someone else suggested leaving the batter out to let it all dry.. anyone else have suggestions?

IMMEDIATELY REMOVE THE BATTERY. VERY VERY IMPORTANT!br As soon as possible preferably within minutes. dissassemble the phone using Torx T screwdriver. Get this off eBay or service depots, etc Make an emergency trip to SearsRadioShackACEservice depotetc.br Cleandry as much as you can, using QTipsbr Dry the electronics components under a desk lamp on a paper towel for hours.br Use a blow dryer, set on warm. Blow dry the phone. Make sure your battery and sim card are out of the phone.br Put your phone in rice for hours w battery and sim outbr You can also leave the battery and sim out. Leave your phone out in the sun. Let it dry.br Reassemble the phonebr Put back togetherbr Only now its safe to put the battery back in.brbrIf those steps do not work you can try a new battery in your phone. That most likely will get the phone working properly again.
