Question
I Dropped My Phone In CHOCOLATE MILK!?
so i was sitting watching tv and my phone just plopped right off my leg into my milk and it was like almost gone but it still got a little wet and just my luck it was on the side of the phone with the battery, its an enV and it turns on, i know its not good to turn it on after its gotten wet but it wasnt totally wet, but like some things are wierd now like the whole front of the phone pretty much before you flip it open all of the numbers instead of just pushing like when you push it puts ABC in the number thing and if you have the phone open and you close it like seconds later it just turns off
Answer
I hear this a lot. Many people have tried placing their phones in bowls of rice and I hear that works. You can even take the phone and battery apart and lay them out to dry for a couple of days. Do you have insurance? You know filing an insurance claim will cost you to get it replaced. Since this is a newer phone, youll more than likely get a brand new phone with a new yr warranty on it. However if you have no insurance, youll be required to purchase another phone at retail value.brbrbrTo the guy below me, Daman, anytime you purchase something and have a warranty on it, if YOU do something to make it stop working, they wont cover it under warranty. brbrThe only time you can get it under warranty is if the phone stopped working, with no damage to it. That is considered a malfunction. You didnt do anything for it to stop working so thats when they should be held liable to replace it.brbrShouldnt matter what rice you put it in.brbrWhat you can do is take the phone apart. On the back of your phone there is a white dot. If its not white, then its like a purple or pink color. Color will indicate phone has been exposed to liquid. If its still white, you can just try to get all the liquid out that you possibly can, take it to the store and just tell them its not working.brbrSorry to have typed so much.brbrAlso, if youre within the first days of getting your phone, you can see about adding the insurance to your account in order to get a replacement.
